Below is a Q1 2026 update highlighting ecosystem tooling and solutions across January, February, and March.

The first quarter of 2026 picked up right where the previous year left off. From major releases and interoperability progress to governance enhancements and developer tooling upgrades, teams across the ecosystem continued to ship at pace. With consistent improvements across infrastructure, analytics, and developer experience, the momentum remains strong. Check out the highlights below to see what’s been delivered.


Reeve

cardano-foundation/reeve

January:

  • Provenant vLEI publishing and attestation scripts implemented according to CIP-170
  • Reeve indexer vLEI verification implemented
  • Finalized new reporting module with configurable report templates
  • Dev and deployment preparations for upcoming v1.3.0

February:

  • Released versions v1.3.0 and v1.3.1
  • Improved reconciliation statistics, filtering, and indexer performance
  • Enhanced download endpoints for transactions and reports
  • Validation upgrades including duplicate rules, CSV validation, and template protections
  • Fixed reconciliation date issues, duplicate key exceptions, and report loop bug
  • OpenAPI and Flyway upgrades, GitHub runner migration

March:

  • Released versions v1.4.0 and v1.4.1
  • Extended transaction metadata with parent project code and batchId
  • Improved download filters and template configuration options
  • Added CustomerCredit transaction type and rejection workflows
  • Enhanced reconciliation views and status handling
  • Multiple fixes across reconciliation logic and CSV processing

Cardano IBC Incubator

  • Hermes migration, health-check monitoring, and denom-trace PostgreSQL integration
  • Added integration tests for Gateway and Hermes
  • Consolidated Cosmos-side verification to Mithril, removed legacy light client

February:

  • Hardened Docker reproducibility across Cardano, Gateway, and Cosmos
  • Introduced native message exchange entrypoint
  • Modularized Caribic and improved startup consistency
  • Fixed packet handling, escrow, collateral, and denom-trace integrity
  • Persisted and hydrated Gateway IBC state tree cache
  • Hardened ICS-20 flows and improved JSON handling
  • Updated Gateway proof contract and improved faucet security
  • Extensive integration tests and documentation updates
  • Removed legacy light client docs and cleaned unused code

March:

  • Migrated Gateway data pipeline to Yaci-based data plane
  • Upgraded IBC-Go from v8 to v10
  • Added bridge discovery manifest and improved transfer planning
  • Extended Caribic with Injective testnet and Cheqd support
  • Improved Hermes lifecycle and runtime architecture
  • Stability fixes for token swaps and Mithril lag handling
  • Documentation and integration environment improvements

Cardano Rosetta Java

  • Added SPO voting support and DRep delegation visibility in /network
  • Updated Flyway schema
  • Prepared Yaci Store 2.0.0-rc1 and Mithril upgrade

February:

  • Released versions v2.0.0 and v2.1.0
  • Introduced Admin UI for Yaci indexer with Rosetta branding
  • Updated stack to Cardano Node 10.5.4 and Yaci CLI 0.10.6
  • Added governance endpoint tests and golden examples
  • Aligned DRep type with CIP-129
  • Added preview E2E testing and deployment documentation

March:

  • Prepared v2.1.1 release
  • Introduced Kubernetes Helm charts for deployment
  • Improved indexer connection pooling and startup probes
  • Enabled token registry in preprod configuration

CIP-113 Programmable Tokens

January:

  • Released first candidate on preview testnet with stablecoin prototype
  • Features include register, mint/burn, transfer, freeze/unfreeze, and seize
  • Started smart contract audit process

February:

  • Added transfer support via Mesh SDK
  • UX improvements including one-shot token registration
  • Implemented wipe functionality
  • Performance optimizations reducing memory and CPU usage
  • Codebase hardening, benchmarks, and expanded test coverage

March:

  • Continued audit preparation
  • Fixed vulnerability related to mini-ledger consistency
  • Improved minting logic
  • Prepared integration with Cardano Foundation Token Registry

Cardano Connect with Wallet

February:

  • Released cardano-connect-with-wallet-core v0.2.9
  • Released cardano-connect-with-wallet v0.2.17

March:

  • Released versions v0.2.18, v0.2.19, and core v0.2.10
  • Expanded CIP-95 support and updated CIP-30 extensions

Cardano Client Lib

January:

  • Fixed null relay port deserialization for pool registration
  • Simplified MPF by removing Classic Mode and renaming to MpfTrie

February:

  • Added multi-step TxFlow support with rollback
  • Introduced blueprint code generation tests for CIP-113
  • Enhanced MPF Trie with RDBMS support and garbage collection
  • Improved blueprint processor and schema handling
  • Upgraded to Java 17 and updated dependencies
  • Added integration tests and multiple data fixes
  • Migrated documentation to Nextra 4

March:

  • Added experimental KES and VRF primitives
  • Enhanced MPF Trie with custom hash constructors
  • Introduced MetadataType annotation processor
  • Added integration tests for contracts and devnet
  • Improved blueprint processor architecture
  • Fixed Plutus evaluation edge cases

Yaci DevKit

  • Implemented CIP-30 Wallet API and Wallet UI
  • Improved viewer explorer UI

March:

  • Added MCP server for Claude Code integration (community contribution)
  • Improved viewer UI including transaction list and block details

  • Released v0.4.0 with IPv4/IPv6 peer serialization fixes

February:

  • Improved ChainSync pipelining
  • Enhanced EventListener

March:

  • Added mock block producer mode with UTXO tracking
  • Improved devnet block production and test coverage
  • Introduced bootstrap state mode for lightweight relays
  • Added filtering plugin and block pruning
